Activities
Even though seeing beautiful landscape and scenery is the main reason for people to visit Iceland, many like to do some activity as well. There are many possibility available here in our area. Meeting and experiencing the Icelandic horse is very popular, and since this area, the Ölfus is one of the most active areas in Iceland when it comes to horse breeding and training there are two farms that specialize in offering different riding tours for guests.
There are more different possibility´s as well. For example rowing on a Kajak is also popular.
Sólhestar
In about 7 min drive away from us there is the Sólhestar (Sunhorses). There you can have a nice ride. You can ride in a group with other guests or more privately as many of the more advanced riders choose. Sólhestar has horses of all kadegorys, horses for total begynners and for more experianced riders.
